Collaborative Fashion Shoot - Men’s Styling

Like my previous fashion shoots, I received the opportunity to do these from word-of-mouth recommendation from people that I have worked with before.

I was particularly eager to do this photoshoot because it was in relation to men’s fashion and styling. Being perfectly honest, I was not crazy about using a yellow backdrop but it is what the client requested so I obliged and made the best of it but was still able to come out with some great images to add to my portfolio.

When I was given more creative freedom, though, with the classic white background, I certainly thrived. Having the use of a male model certainly offers that variation for potential clients to see. I have done men’s fashion shoots before but this one certainly felt more considered because my collaborator certainly had a vision in mind of what she wanted and I had mine too so we were able to work together to achieve something we were both satisfied with.

I am going to venture more into fashion photography as it certainly feels like something that I do enjoy but I would love to try more outlandish fashion and incorporate things like drastic hair, majorly exaggerated make-up, and things of that nature.
