Textbook Studio Visit with Vicky Carr
Being part of the exhibition committee for the final year graduate show at university, we had the opportunity to visit with Vicky at Textbook Studios to discuss more about the publication of our catalogue and things to consider when deciding how to design and make our publication.
After having learned from Vicky about her studio and practice previously, we already knew we could develop a professional and successful rapport.
The ideas we were able to form together, and the inspiration we gathered from other publications from external artists gathered by Vicky, helped to inform some of our decisions moving forward.
From this experience it helped to reinforce my passion for collaboration of projects. Working with other artists, even in different disciplines with different experiences, great things can come to fruition and more inventive and innovative ideas are brought to light.
