FORMAT Festival Visit

A wonderful opportunity to see photographic work on display. Heading to Derby for the day, FORMAT festival was filled to the brim with different areas of photography to focus on ranging from sustainable photobook displays to large scale moving image and still image installations to studies of different processes of making. There was plenty more in between these, but that tells you clearly just how jam-packed this festival was with useful information.

Building up to a graduate show in a few months where I will be displaying my work, I was open to suggestion for how I may want to exhibit my imagery. By visiting the different shows on at FORMAT festival I was able to derive inspiration for methods of making engaging media to display in regard to hanging types, paper stock, photobook potential, and even ways of moving image showcasing.
